Thanks for visiting Kimagination. I handle your personal data with care and only use what I need to process your order and answer your questions. This page explains what I collect, why, and what your rights are.
Who is responsible for your data?
Kimagination
Regentenstraat 31
1741 EP Schagen, the Netherlands
Chamber of Commerce (KvK): 42004883
Email: info@kimagination.nl
Phone: +31 6 55073551
What data do I collect?
When you place an order
- First and last name
- Email address
- Delivery address (street, house number, postcode and city)
- Your notes on the order, if you add any
- What you ordered, the amount, any discount code and the status of your payment
Payments are handled by Mollie. You enter your bank or card details with Mollie, not with me. I only see whether the payment succeeded and which payment method was used.
When you use the contact form
Your name, email address, your phone number if you provide it, the subject and your message.
When you visit the website
The server records technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is needed to keep the website secure and working. I do not use this data to build a profile of you.
What do I use your data for?
- Handling your order: to make, pack and ship your order, email you a confirmation and shipping notice, and arrange a return or repair. This is necessary to perform the purchase agreement.
- Answering your questions: when you get in touch, I use your data to help you. I do this based on my legitimate interest in helping customers well, or because it is needed for your order.
- My records: Dutch law requires me to keep order and payment records for the tax authorities.
- Security: to prevent misuse of the website and the payment process.
I do not send newsletters or advertising unless you asked for them, and I never sell your data.
Who do I share your data with?
Only with parties I need to run the shop, and only the data they need:
- Mollie B.V. processes your payment.
- The carrier (for example PostNL) receives your name and delivery address to deliver your parcel.
- My hosting provider runs the servers for the website and database.
- My email provider sends the confirmation emails.
I make agreements with parties that process data on my behalf so they handle it as carefully as I do. If data is processed outside the European Economic Area, this only happens with the safeguards the law requires. Otherwise I only share data when I am legally required to.
How long do I keep your data?
- Orders and invoices: 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law.
- Contact messages: as long as needed to handle your question, and then at most 1 year, so I can look back if you get in touch again.
- Server logs: briefly, only as long as needed for security and fixing problems.
Cookies
Kimagination only uses functional cookies that the shop needs to work. No analytics cookies, advertising cookies or third-party trackers are used.
- cookie_consent: remembers your choice in the cookie notice.
- cart_session: remembers your shopping cart, valid for 30 days.
- kmg_cd_seen: remembers that you have already seen a countdown page, so it doesn't keep coming back.
The links to Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest are plain links. Only when you click one do you visit that service, and its own privacy rules apply.
Security
The website uses a secure connection (https). Payments go through Mollie's secure environment. Only I have access to the shop's admin, with a personal password.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask which data I hold about you (access);
- have incorrect data corrected;
- have your data deleted, unless I am legally required to keep it;
- object to or restrict the use of your data;
- receive your data in a common file format.
Send your request to info@kimagination.nl. I will respond within one month. To make sure the request comes from you, I may ask you to confirm your identity.
Not happy with how I handle your data? Please tell me first so we can sort it out together. You always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes
If the shop changes, I may update this privacy policy. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
